The pockets inside the home folder are labeled "R" for Return to school and "L" for Leave at home. 

The Right pocket should always hold their assignment sheet, calendar, homework, and anything else I've asked them to return to school. 

Students should give their parents anything in the Left pocket. 

Students are responsible for keeping their own home folders organized and for having their home folders with them at school daily. You can help them learn to be organized by reminding them to pack their backpacks before going to bed each night!
