I have taught at Revere Middle School in the Houston Independent School District for thirty-one years, and in that time, I have helped to educate some of Houston’s most promising students.  I have had the pleasure of instructing an elective class, Math Counts. This class is designed for all grade levels. In our class we covered topics ranging from graphing calculator applications to pre-algebra computations and algebraic computations. I help the students succeed academically by teaching them to persevere through even the most difficult tasks. In addition, I also coordinate our school’s participation in various U.I.L. competitions throughout the Houston Independent School District. Revere Students did extremely well at these meets, achieving several first places in these competitions. My goal is to aid my students to achieve their dreams of success as well as stimulate the dream of success for those who need guidance.

God has blessed me to mother three amazing children.I had the pleasure of teaching my two older children at Revere Middle School. That’s right they had an experience of a life time of being in a 7^th grade classroom taught by me, their mother.

My oldest son Lloyd has a B.S. from Drexel University in Computer Engineering. He was so bless to have a full scholarship to Drexel University. On day of his graduation Lloyd had entered a contest to write your own T.V. show hosted by Verizon Wireless. Lloyd won the contest and is now a Technical Guru host of the show My Home 2.0

Teresa my only daughter is a student at Oklahoma University she is bless to obtain a full academic scholarship in Mechanical Engineering at Oklahoma University.She will be starting her last year at Oklahoma University for the 2011 fall school year.  

Kilroy my youngest son is in the sixth grade.  He is also looking forward to following his siblings in engineering as well; he just can’t make up his mind as to whether to attended Drexel University or Oklahoma University.
